Kip O’Kelley

Kip O’KelleyKip joined Conley Griggs Partin as an Associate Attorney in March of 2022. His practice focuses on catastrophic personal injury and complex litigation cases covering a wide range of legal issues including toxic tort, wrongful death, products liability, medical malpractice, premises liability, slip and fall, general negligence, and business dispute litigation. Prior to joining Conley Griggs Partin, Kip worked as an associate for an Atlanta-based insurance defense firm in Atlanta, providing him with a unique understanding of the strategies employed by defense counsel in building its case. Kip realized he wanted to spend his efforts helping real people whose loved ones were lost or severely injured due to corporate negligence and wrongdoing.

In his first three years at Conley Griggs Partin, Kip has been directly involved on cases that have resolved for over $50 million collectively for his clients. Most notably, Kip was the lead associate on a case against a local medical sterilization company which led to an eight-figure settlement.
In 2024, Kip was named a “Rising Star” by Atlanta Magazine, an annual honor given to no more than 2.5 percent of lawyers in Georgia under 40 who have attained a high degree of peer recognition for their advocacy for their clients and professional achievement. Also in 2024, Kip was accepted into the Georgia Trial Lawyers’ Association’s LEAD program.

Kip earned his B.A. in Business Marketing from the University of Georgia in 2017, summa cum laude. He then attended the University of Georgia School of Law, where he earned his J.D., cum laude. While in law school, he served on the Editorial Board of the Journal of International and Comparative Law. Kip was also active in Mock Trial and Moot Court, winning the 2018 J. Melvin England Mock Trial Competition and the 2019 Georgia Intrastate Moot Court Competition. During his final year of law school, Kip was selected as a pupil in the E. Wycliffe Orr Sr. American Inn of Court and prosecuted criminal cases in the Northeastern Circuit’s District Attorney’s Office.

Kip is a native of Flowery Branch, Georgia. Kip now lives in Smyrna with his wife, Alden, and both are members at Atlanta Westside Presbyterian Church. When he’s not practicing law, he enjoys playing golf, Georgia Football, and the Atlanta Braves.

Bruce Millar The Millar Law Firm Atlanta, GA

As an Atlanta Attorney I have known Cale Conley personally for nearly 20 years. I first heard about Cale through other lawyers, who talked about his remarkable skill and great results as a trial attorney. When I finally had the chance to refer a case to Cale and work with him as a colleague, I was blown away by the level of his professionalism, knowledge and skill. Over the past few years I have referred several clients with large and complex cases to Cale and his firm and have been extremely impressed with the results he has obtained! In my opinion, Cale is one of the best Attorneys in the United States. Not just in Atlanta or Georgia, but anywhere. I am totally confident in referring any case or client to him. Not only is he a great attorney, he and his firm and partners take good care of clients and care deeply about them. If I could give Cale and his firm more than 5-Stars I would.

I had the pleasure of trying a very complicated products liability case with Cale Conley and Davis Popper. They and their entire office are fantastic, and I could not recommend them more highly. The entire process, from the time that we brought them in to work with us, through the course of the case and trial, was seamless. Cale, Richard, Rance, and Davis are some of the finest trial lawyers in the Country, and I look forward to working with them on future cases.
